Othniel Oysters Ltd was set up by Gary Wordsworth in 1986 and became a Limited Company in 1993.
Starting out originally as a clam and cockle farm, it now grows up to 400 tons of oysters a year on shellfish beds in Poole Harbour, Dorset.
The Company farms 51 hectares of shellfish beds in Poole Harbour, which are leased from the Crown, through the local Sea Fisheries Committee.

Delivery Abroad
Poole has good ferry connections to the Continent and we are able to load pallets of shellfish direct on to lorries for next day delivery to our customers in France and the UK.
