About Us

We operate from a 30 x 15 metre, 400 ton flat-bottomed barge which is a converted car ferry. It is moored in the shelter of Brownsea Island, 500 metres from the grounds. This is roofed over, giving 300 sq metres covered working space. Here we have workshop facilities for repairs and maintenance of boats and gear.

There is also a processing line for harvested shellfish. A diesel driven generator supplies power. Because of the large, smooth, open deck we are able to palletise goods and move them around using a fork lift truck. Our harvesting systems are highly mechanised and therefore we are able to handle large quantities efficiently.
